The word "blog" is sooooooooo blaaaaaaaaah.

Now, “storytelling” is something I can slurp up like a good bowl of hot soup!

Its rich history, dating back to ancient times, culture and life were told through cave paintings, hieroglyphics, dance, and song. Evolution brought us the oral tradition, tales shared from generation to generation to keep what is meaningful alive.

My favorite part of elementary school was circling up on the rug for story time, right?!

Or how about the joy when someone would read us a book?! It would seem that we are almost genetically programmed for it. And I believe storytelling is THE universal human connector. It can bridge gaps to bring people together to somehow make the world a brighter space. And let’s face it, when you find your people, it can set your soul on fire!

Sometimes wanting one income to be enough for a family of five just isn’t enough. And three growing, active boys can be a lot. My entrepreneurial-minded brain started churning. Can we talk about something really scary? College x 3. What can I say? It crept up on us. And when my oldest son was a freshman in high school, my friends who had older kids shared how much the average year of college cost and it scared the living crap out of us. And things were already tight.
