There’s something magical about the first week of the new year. The buzz of the holidays has quieted, and the blank slate of the new year stretches before me, brimming with possibility. While some dive into their plans and resolutions before the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve, I find myself fully arriving in the year on this day—ready to embrace fresh beginnings and firm up the dreams I’ve been cultivating.
For me, planning for a new year in the midst of the old one has always felt counterintuitive. December is a whirlwind of activity, memories, and reflection. It’s a season for soaking up the now, not rushing ahead. So here I am, stepping into January with clarity and intention, energized by the momentum of all that I’ve envisioned for the year to come.
This year, I’m leaning deeply into what fuels my soul: nature’s healing power and the magic of community. I’ve spent time dreaming up a rhythm for the months ahead—a cadence that invites connection, creativity, and growth.
Second Saturdays: Forest Therapy Group Walks
These guided walks are a time to slow down, breathe deeply, and immerse ourselves in the wisdom of the natural world. Forest therapy is about more than just walking in the woods; it’s an intentional practice of tuning in to the sights, sounds, and sensations of nature. Each month, I’ll invite others to join me in this practice of mindful exploration, fostering a sense of peace and presence.

Third Thursdays: Wellness Classes
From essential oils to mindfulness practices, these classes will center on holistic approaches to nurturing body, mind, and spirit. I’m excited to share tools and ideas that help us feel vibrant and aligned, while also creating space for meaningful conversations and shared learning.

Last Tuesdays: EcoArts Crafting
Creativity and nature go hand in hand, and these monthly crafting sessions will celebrate that connection. Whether we’re making floral gratitude pumpkins, luminous leaf bowls, or whimsical beeswax candles, these gatherings will be a space to let our imaginations play and to connect through the joy of creating with our hands.

Seasonal Camps: Come Play Outside
There’s nothing quite like coming together for a weekend of nature, play, and community. These camps, with their blend of arts & crafts, forest therapy, stargazing, and campfire stories, are about reconnecting with the inner spark that’s so often dimmed by daily life. I’m thrilled to see how these retreats will continue to grow and evolve, each one offering its own unique kind of magic.

As I set this plan into motion, I’m struck by the incredible energy that comes from being surrounded by like-minded, curious people. Those drawn to these events share a desire to slow down, to savor life’s simple pleasures, and to build connections—with each other and with the natural world. It’s this sense of community that fuels me and reminds me why I do what I do.
So, here’s to the start of another year. To the healing power of nature. To the joy of gathering together. To fresh beginnings and dreams realized. I can’t wait to see how this year unfolds, and I invite you to join me in these adventures. Let’s make 2025 a year of growth, creativity, and connection—rooted in the beauty of the world around us.
